Poor Wellbeing

You Deserve Support — Right Now

Your score suggests poor wellbeing. This page is here to help you take the next safest step. You’re not alone, and you do not need to “push through” this by yourself.

If you feel unsafe or in crisis

  • Call 999 or go to your nearest A&E.
  • Call NHS 111 (Option 2 where available) for urgent mental health advice.
  • Call Samaritans 116 123 (free, 24/7) if you need someone to talk to now.
A tiny plan for today

One step at a time

  • Drink water. Eat something small if you can. Take 3 slow breaths.
  • Tell one person: “I’m not okay and I need support.”
  • Use workplace support: EAP, Occupational Health, HR, your manager, or a trusted colleague.

If work is contributing

You’re allowed to ask for help. Consider saying:

  • “I’m struggling and I need to reduce my load temporarily.”
  • “Can we agree the top priorities and pause the rest?”
  • “I’d like a referral to Occupational Health / access to the EAP.”

If you’re unable to have that conversation alone, ask a trusted person to support you, or use HR/union support.

WEMWBS is a wellbeing measure, not a diagnosis. If you’re worried about your mental health, contact a healthcare professional.
